What is an Authorized Reseller?
From the legal point of view, an authorized reseller is responsible for the collection and payment of VAT, GST, or Sales Tax to the appropriate government agency.
One of the key benefits of partnering with Transaction Cloud is that we are your authorized reseller in all countries for selling to the buyers.
Do we have to pay sales, VAT, GST taxes?
No, since Transaction Cloud is the seller to customers, it collects, files, and pays sales tax or VAT or GST to appropriate government entities worldwide.
What Products are not supported by Transaction Cloud?
Our marketplace platform does not support the following products or services:
- Physical products
- Donations, crowdfunding, advertising and sponsorship
- Resale of any product without a valid reseller certificate, and resellers of products associated with a high number of customers complaints
- Pornographic products or services
- Dating services/applications
- Betting related products
- Money transfer and financial services
- Firearms
- Travel booking
- Any product, service or activity which violates privacy, IP or copyright laws
- Age-restricted products or services
- Any product, service or activity that is deceptive, unfair, predatory, or prohibited by one or more Card Networks
- Any product or service that infringes upon the copyright, trademark, terms and conditions or trade secrets of any third party
- Any business or organization that violates the law Illegal products/services or any service providing support for engaging in illegal activities
Do we have to pay corporate income taxes in other countries or states due to the economic nexus created by our business relationship with buyers from that region?
No, Transaction Cloud's is your authorized reseller, hence we create an economic nexus in the region. Hence, we pay any corporate income taxes which might result from the economic nexus created due to selling to buyers from that region.
That said, your company is still liable to pay corporate income taxes in the country, state, province where your company is incorporated or has direct economic or physical nexus.
Whom does the buyer contact if there is an issue with our product?
As the product has been developed by you; any support, updates, customer complaints are your responsibility. This helps in maximizing customer satisfaction and retention.
Which countries are not supported by Transaction Cloud?
In accordance with international sanctions and regulations, Transaction Cloud doesn’t support customers and buyers from the following regions: Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Nicaragua, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Liberia (Former Regime of Charles Taylor), Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe
